We are building a list of helpful websites for you to use at home. If you have found anything which you think that other children at school would like, please pass on the details to Mrs Fishwick to be added to this list.
= Lots of maths games aimed at 5-7 and 7-11 year olds. Choose the age group then select the topic.
= Select specific areas of the curriculum and answer questions to practise that skill.
= Print out a set of times table flash cards for any times table to play lots of different games to help learn your times tables.
= Bitesize website for Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. Select the appropriate Key Stage, then maths, and finally choose your specific area of maths. Watch a video to revise, follow links to other useful resources or look at more clips.
= Lots of exciting problem solving tasks to complete. You can even upload your answers which could be published on the website. Choose either Lower or Upper Primary for Key Stage 1 or 2, then choose ‘school maths topic’ in the ‘collections’ menu before selecting an area for your problem solving activity. Stage 1 or 2 means that the activity can be accessed by Key Stage 1 or 2 children. The star rating identifies how challenging the task is. When you select a problem, there are tips on how to get started, solutions to check when you are finished and linking words right at the bottom of the page which send you to similar themed tasks.
